About Me

Hi, I’m Brynlee! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in OCD, anxiety, perfectionism, skin-picking and hair-pulling disorders, and trauma.

I enjoy working with people who feel stuck, whether that means getting caught in cycles of doubt and overthinking, feeling like nothing is ever quite good enough, struggling with repetitive behaviors, or carrying experiences from the past that are difficult to move forward from. These struggles can take up a lot of mental and emotional space, and I want therapy to help you spend less time feeling stuck and more time doing the things that matter to you.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). I’m also an Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) clinician and use ART to help clients work through distressing experiences. I’ve had the opportunity to present alongside other clinicians at the International OCD Foundation’s Annual OCD Conference, where we discussed navigating college with OCD.

I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to the person sitting across from me. I want to understand your experiences, what matters to you, and what you hope will be different. I value being able to ask questions, be honest when something isn’t working, and even laugh together along the way. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you walk through the door, and you don’t need to do therapy perfectly to benefit from it.

More than anything, I want to help you build a life that feels like your own. That might mean learning to respond differently to uncertainty, making room for more self-compassion, or working through experiences that have been weighing on you. You don’t have to wait until everything feels settled to start moving toward the life you want.

My personal time consists of lots of crafts, playing Stardew Valley and Hogwarts Legacy, moving my body in joyful ways, appreciating nature, and expanding my collection of plants. My most cherished time is spent simply having fun with my sweet husband, friends, cats, and Lewie!

I’m glad you’re here, and I’d love to help you figure out whether working together feels like a good fit.

Lewie is a fun loving, 1 year old Mini Bernedoodle learning the ropes of being a Therapy Animal. His favorite activities include going to work with me, being at the dog park, tug-of-war, and doing tricks for cheese. He supports clients through in-session stress reduction, a source of unconditional positive regard, and grounding to the present moment. Our long term goal is to become an official therapy team in Utah and participate in animal-assisted interactions within our community.
